While spearheading community initiatives with Lululemon, I learned the beauty of authentic connections. Lululemon approaches community with patience and intention, taking plenty of time to get to know leaders in the wellness space and learning what the community needs before acting. At Lululemon, we placed the brand in the community in three different ways:
Making intentional relationships with local wellness leaders, choosing a few that truly align with the brand to take on as store ambassadors.
Sending the Lululemon team out into the community to take classes at different workout studios, interacting with others taking the class, and making introductions to the staff.
Product-seeding local wellness leaders to align with larger brand marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Executing in-store events such as workout classes before operating hours and shop nights with local organizations.
Collaborating or donating supplies to local events in the wellness space.
