SOCIAL @ OUTSITE
Hey Outsite Team,
Welcome to this secret corner of my portfolio. Feel free to look around at my other work, but this page is just for you!
TLDR:
I’m chronically online.
I’m deeply passionate about community building.
Send me anywhere, any time. No, seriously. It’s my dream to be on planes constantly traveling to new places.
I’m never more focused than when I’m editing videos on CapCut.
Here’s how I would do social for Outsite
Outsite Location Tours
I’m adventurous but also an over-thinker. Sometimes, all that thinking gets in the way of trying new things. Filming location tours can help answer questions, ease any worries the community may have, and allow us to show off the incredible spaces Outsite has to offer.
Video Travel Itineraries
Do we have local connections, maybe a community member who is a frequent flyer to a certain city, or even someone from the Outsite team? We can build and film travel itineraries to show the community what they can do after logging off from work! There’s also an opportunity to engage your online community by asking for recommendations on social media to include in the travel itineraries.
Newsletter Travel Itineraries
The new kid on the social media block is Substack. It seems like everyone is migrating there to find a new way to connect with their community—long form. Substack is the perfect platform for organizing evergreen travel itineraries that the community can return to anytime. You can include it all: writing, photos, videos, and audio. Community members can comment, like, and share entire articles or specific sections. The best part? New posts go directly to community members’ email inboxes, so they can stay in the loop without always having to check the platform!
Peer-Led Storytelling
After working in the ambassador marketing space, I learned how important peer advocacy can be. Whether it’s a Day in the Life vlog, a community member interview, or an account “takeover,” incorporating genuine sentiments from real community members helps build a sense of trust.
Frequent-Travelers Channel
Building community is not just about connecting members to the brand; it’s also about connecting members with each other. Having a channel on Instagram where the brand’s most frequent travelers can share recommendations, post pictures from recent trips, ask questions, and tell stories can actually foster a deeper connection to the brand and bring members closer together. Creating multiple channels of connection in this way can encourage community members to travel to Outsite locations together, boosting member retention and loyalty.
